Counselling

The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) views counselling as a relational process that facilitates change. It addresses a multitude of mental health and wellness issues, including psychological distress.

The counselling process invites clients to more effectively manage inner conflicts by exploring thoughts, feelings, impressions, embodiment of trauma, and behavioural habits, as well as spiritual and systemic aspects of their lives.

Basically, counselling offers a safe, empathetic, and resonant space where clients can reconnect with a sense of curiosity and empowerment. This supports overcoming mental health challenges and creating positive ways of being and navigating the world.

“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”
